In the modern fast-paced workplace, companies require an easy and effective method of monitoring employee hours with minimal administrative burden. Time Management Software (TMS) was created to solve this problem by offering a one-stop-shop for monitoring work hours, scheduling shifts, and maintaining timesheet accuracy.
The Problem: Calculating Breaks Across Overnight Shifts
The client was experiencing difficulties in keeping track of timesheets throughout the organization. Staff members were changing between several different tools simply in order to submit their working hours, resulting in inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and lost time. HR groups spent hours in manually checking timesheets, while managers did not have a definite, real-time view of attendance and productivity across their teams.
The project was divided into two core components:
